PhotoHunt Theme: Metal

The theme this week is "metal" and we are having a lot of flooding in the St. Louis area. Of course I know that water is not metal, however as we drove around the area I found that there is a lot of metal by the flooded areas.
The high school has metal chain-link f
ences around the ball fields.
The Porta-Potty is in a metal cage...
The goal posts in the flooded football field
are a bright yellow metal.
And then I found a metal barrier which wouldn't allow access to the park.
On the bridges there is also a lot of metal.
Hopefully there won't be a lot more water or we'll have a lot of metal underwater!

Wow, those are some crazy shots of flooding. I'm glad when I lived in St. Louis I didn't have any issues with flooding. :D

Wow--that's a big area that got flooded. They are the worst. We get a lot out here but fortunately we are on a hill so we just get stuck not being able to anywhere.

Gosh...that's a lot of water there. I did not expect St. Louis to be so flood prone. I had a laugh when you posted up the goal posts. Are you talking about American football or water polo? Haha.. great post :)
