PhotoHunt Theme: Shoes
The theme this week is "shoes" and I have always gone barefoot as much as possible. When wearing shoes, I have my flat, black mary janes, my highest of heels and my running shoes. But my shoes all come off fairly quickly so I thought I would highlight my husband's shoes. He has been wearing desert boots since he was in 6th grade!

This picture was taken today when we were at a local microbrewery and we were enjoying the outdoors listening to a band. I looked down, after taking pictures of the band, and saw that desert boot and knew it was my second Photohunt picture for shoes. I had first thought about my daughter's wedding shoes for the theme today. She wore a beautiful renaissance type white gown and had found this pair of boots to wear for her wedding. She had always said that she wanted to wear boots for her prom and she did, so it followed that she would want boots for her wedding also. I was over at her house at the beginning of this year and she had just cleaned out her closet, so I took a picture of her totally organized closet. No, she doesn't take after me in organization! Anyway, there were her wedding boots in the top right corner so I cropped that picture for today's Photohunt to show off her beautiful wedding boots. As always, find more Photohunters here!

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!
I love your daughter's wedding boots - though I think it would kill me to wear them! Unfortunately my large and ancient feet would probably be more comfortable in your husband's boots!
Those wedding boots are very elegant and pretty.
Nice post for the theme, just keep it up and enjoy what you like to do!

The wedding boots are quite unique! I must tell you that I had a bit of a flashback when I saw your hubby's desert boots! I spent my teenaged years in those and moccasins!
I think I prefer your husband's!
My human really loves those shoes in the second photo!
Wow, those are amazing wedding boots. FAZ
I like the contrast between the first and second shoes. Good shots for the theme.
That's real unique for wedding! :)
Gosh, I can't even remember where my wedding shoes were trashed out to already.
I had friends in school that wore those boots ALL the time...
Unique wedding shoes!
