Missing Oscar the Puppy Cat...

I didn't want another sad story...
but our friend, Oscar the Puppy Cat is also gone.

Anniversary Dinner...

Having married in St. Louis quite a few years ago,
I decided that we should try an anniversary dinner
with a St. Louis Theme.Both China Cat and Willow were fascinated with the roses...There were a lot of smells from those flowers...And I guess, according to Willow,
they also tasted pretty darn good...Most weddings in St. Louis will have some sort of mostacioli
(spell and pronounce as you wish!) at the reception,
and ours was no exception.
We also have Pasta House in St. Louis with their famous Pasta House Salad.
Of course, with the pasta and salad, you must have cheese garlic bread! And dessert was another classic: Gooey Butter Cake.

I have never participated in Photo Hunt
but today's Photo Hunt happens to be "Two"
so I figured two cats will fit right in that hunt!

so... I guess it's pretty clear why I chose this picture today!

RAMS PRE-SEASON GAME DAY 2: Chargers at Rams

Well, today is the Ram's second pre-season game.
They are playing the San Diego Chargers at 7:00 pm tonight
in our very own stadium, here in St. Louis, the Edward Jones Dome.

It didn't sell out so no telecast - I am not very happy about this...

WCB #114 Sundance and Sammawow

It's time for WCB #114 and it's being hosted over at What Did You Eat?
It has been a very sad weekend over there for Sher and Upsie
as sweet Sundance was diagnosed with FIP
and has now gone over the Bridge. My previous cat, Samantha, is who this blog is named for
as she always said Ma-Wow instead of Meow.
So we ended up calling her Sammawow quite a lot.
She was a very sweet kitty to only a few people.
In fact, most people didn't really like her
because she had a tendency to hiss and bite.
She just didn't like changes at all.
But she really loved us and she was a great lap cat,
until a noise scared her!
I was scratched, accidentally, quite a few times
when she would leap from my lap.
And, of course, we still miss her...

RAMS PRE-SEASON GAME DAY 1: Rams at Vikings

UPDATE: Rams 13 Vikings 10 - Hooray for my Rams!!!

at Well, today is the Ram's first pre-season game.
They are playing the Minnesota Vikings at 7:00 pm tonight
in the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis.
The last regular season game of 2006 was also against the Vikings -
final score Rams 41 - Vikings 21.
I hope we will be winning the game tonight!

The new look of our defensive line is Leonard Little at left end;
James Hall at right end; and La'Roi Glover and rookie Adam Carriker at tackle.

China Cat & Willow's Cousin Alice is sure that she is big enough
to help out the defensive line, she'll be waiting in the back field for the call to help... The Friday Ark is boarding today
and already there's lots of kitties to go visit!
