PhotoHunt Theme: Squeaky

"SQUEAKY" is the theme this week.

I have had both dogs and cats that liked SQUEAKY toys. I think that my daughter even liked some sort of toy that would make a SQUEAKY sound. But one of my very first toys when I was eleven months old for my very first Christmas was a stuffed toy named SQUEAKY. If you would squeeze him on the head, he would make a SQUEAKY noise. Amazingly enough, the SQUEAKY thing still SQUEAKS!

Looking at him you can tell that SQUEAKY was well-loved
and certainly looks at least 50 years old!
China Cat likes him too! ~~~~~

PhotoHunt Theme: Wide

"WIDE" is the theme this week.
~~~~~
This morning right outside my office window I found a squirrel with a very WIDE tail. He was sitting in the tree looking in the window and then proceeded to fill himself up with the bird food from the feeder. Willow, who was told by her vet that she is getting a bit too WIDE, enjoyed watching the WIDE-tailed squirrel. She kept patting her paw on the window like she was trying to get his attention. China Cat, who is not WIDE at all,
also enjoyed watching and talking to the WIDE-tailed squirrel. I did feature Alice on PhotoHunt before when the word was HEAVY.
Alice is my 20 pound WIDE-bodied grandkitty. My cats will not tolerate having any hats or clothing put on them
but Alice doesn't mind at all.
My daughter and I had fun putting antlers on her this week.~~~~~

I have never put any pictures of my family or friends on my blog so I can't show any of those favorite pictures, of which I have many! However, my cats are always on my blogs and this is one of my favorite pictures of China Cat and Willow sleeping together. You may have seen it before because it is my avatar picture! ~~~~~

PhotoHunt Theme: Breakfast

"BREAKFAST" is the theme this week.

Almost every day I have oatmeal for breakfast made with steel cut oats. I always put cinnamon in while it's cooking and usually will add blueberries. This morning I didn't have any blueberries but did have an apple which I chopped up, cooked with the oats and it was delicious!~~~~~~~~~~I also have tea every morning for breakfast.Occasionally I make blueberry muffins. Yum!This is my husband's favorite breakfast, which he made himself!In the summer fresh blackberries are nice outside by the pool.
China Cat & Willow always eat their breakfast together as soon as I get up in the morning.It's no surprise that Willow loves her breakfast and always tries to eat out of China Cat's bowl.Another breakfast option is cold pizza from the night before.
My father always disagreed with this option! ~~~~~
